30 mts & QRP e friends

The idea turned already from some time. To organize an escape in company for the Scarpon Radio (www.aritn.it), and to dedicate themselves to the construction of a simple gp for the wonderful band of the 30 metrers(oasi for the cw).
So, 16th July I and Luca in3huu have gone to the Viote of the Bondone, locality to some km from Trento.On the place we have covered the path that carries to the “Bocca della Viona”, a green height with sight on the below Valley of the Laghi.With of our equipment, we have proceeded to cut I draft it, and after repeated cuts finally we are resolutions to calibrate it on the ros just! Some space for radial and I was ready one in order to begin to sound the band. Disconsolate from a very bad propagation they are launch to me in a cq to which it has answered for first OM3DA from Slovakia, which passed a rst to me 599.Very good nonbeing has not been a qso with a great QRB but I transmitted with 5w! I continue to launch others cq and receiving from DL, TK always good reports. There are ourselves alternated with Luca in3huu, he with “half wave vertical dipole ones” but on phone in 20 meters. Unfortunately we disturbed ourselves, the two stations were to 15 meters of distance and necessary we have had to transmit half hour per head, I in cw he in ssb. Towards the 19:00 after an express they appear we are come down to valley and we have waited for the arrival of an other friend: Nicola in3adw. It was our intention to find calm, fresh a place (in city were 37°C. ) to transmit the evening hoping to make some DX.after various choises we have planted our “DX Camp” in the middle of a green, hoisting the antennas ( vertical one for the 30 and its for the 20), in DX hunting.
The propagation just for the sake of to change has not helped us, and little have been the truly worthy QSO of famous. A CE in ssb and JA in cw outside with hard work. Towards the 21,30 we have had the pleasure to receive the visit of a friend of Nicola besides known in radio! PD9RAY and spouse, which were found in vacation
in Riva the Garda! So between calls and the other we have chatted with our friend a likeable and estramamente funny person. Towards midnight we have taken apart all, tires but happy of a beautiful afternoon/evening, passed to walk, to cut threads, to call cq, to burn radios no. .that's not… :), and to strain us to speak English with pd9ray!
