Contest Italiano 40/80

Sabato 8 dicembre si è svolto il Contest Italiano 40/80, appuntamento tra i più seguiti tra i contestman italiani.Poco tempo a disposizione, ho comunque deciso di prendervi parte nella categoria SWL.Erano un po'di anni che non parteciapvo a un Contest come SWL ma devo dire che oltre ad essere molto divertente, è sicuramente un'ottima palestra sopratutto in telegrafia.Non escludo di partecipare ad altri Contest sempre come SWL.73s de Alex

Anche quest'anno il Danish Shortwave Club International ha organizzato il suo DX contest rivolto a tutti gli appassionati di radioascolto. Ecco alcune info dal loro sito:

3rd INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST "THE GRAND TOUR ACROSS ALL CONTINENTS" 2012 This completely new contest is held from Friday 23rd November 2012, 0000 UTC, to Sunday 2nd December 2012, 2400 UTC. It is open to all shortwave listeners regardless to their membership in any DX club. Primary contest frequencies are from 2300 to 26100 kHz. Logs outside this range will be valued by half points. The contest fee EUR 3.00 / IRC 4 / USD 5.00 shall be sent together with the contest form to: Jaroslav Bohac, Svestkova 2828/7, 400 11 Usti n.L., CZECH REPUBLIC trams@volny.cz Deadline: 14th December 2012 (date of post stamp) Each participant will receive a contest diploma with his/her classification and a list of paricipants with their results. The first three participants will be awarded non-cash prizes. In Part 1 listen please to any BC station of the contest country, for 15 minutes at least. For one country one log only. Unofficial, pirate and clandestine stations are not allowed. Scoring: 1000 points of each logged country will be divided by a number of logs and rounded to two decimal places. In Part 2 you can raise your score by listening to any DX programme. The number of DX programmes is limited to 4! No particular country limit. Scoring in the same way as in Part 1, maximum point value 100 points for one DX programme. We wish you good listening!

IN3YKS/3 in Alpe Adria Contest 144 MHz

Domenica 5 Agosto, dopo quattro anni ho ripartecipato ad un contest in 144 MHz.Era dal 2008 inftti che per vari motivi avevo disertato l'attività .Location il Monte Toraro (VI) in JN55PU, sede storica di tanti contest.Grazie a Luca IN3HUU, il quale mi ha prestato un treppiede per sorreggere la 9 elementi tonna, ho potuto allestire una discreta stazione.Il fido yaesu ft 857 alimentato da una batteria auto ha fatto egregiamente il suo lavoro.Questo contest per me è sempre stato un appuntamento importante.Forse perchè è stato il primo contest al quale ho partecipato nel 2003 quando ero in vacanza in 9A!Categoria scelta la B cioè: solo CW.Stessa scelta fatta quattro anni fa, e che mi aveva premiato regalandomi un secondo posto italiano e un grandissimo DX:YO in cw!Forse le mie aspettative erano troppo alte, ma quest'anno niente grandi dx!Pazienza,alla fine mi sono divertito lo stesso, il punteggio finale poco
